This new speleology activity at Les Coves de Sant Josep consists of offering the opportunity to explore a virgin part of the cave that has never before been open to the public. This special experience allows participants to immerse themselves in a very special tourism experience and to discover unique corners of the cave, guided by professional guides who will share knowledge about the geology and history of the cave.
In addition to discovering the longest navigable underground river in Europe, it is an exciting opportunity to delve into a more speleological tour for those who wish for a more adventurous experience.
Visit specifications:
– Duration: Approximately 3 hours.
– Group visits: minimum 6 people, maximum 16 pax.
– Recommended minimum age: from 12 years old accompanied by an adult and up to 65 years old. (People over 65 must provide a medical certificate).
– Meeting point with the guides: at the entrance of Coves de Sant Josep.
– Recommended material for the visit: boots or sports shoes with the sole in good condition that can get wet. Swimsuit or swimwear to wear under the wetsuit. Change of clothes and towel in case you want to use the showers.
– Safe visit: the visit allows maintaining an optimal safety distance between participants. In addition, the materials used are sanitized before each use and visit.
– The visit includes: individual equipment necessary for the activity, kayak, paddle, wetsuit, neoprene sock, helmet, and access to changing rooms.
